Modern Cowl Crochet Pattern
"When the leaves start changing, I start pulling the pile of scarves out of my closet. In my opinion, you can never have too many. They go with everything and make great gifts. The most recent addition to my collection is the Modern Cowl. The colors are what really sets it apart from my other scarves. It’s completed in a mix of blues and blue-greens. The Plymouth Hot Cake yarn offers 6 colors in one and it’s all machine washable. It’s a big design without having to weave in all the ends and shift colors. The pattern specifically calls for the Denim Mix Hot Cake."

Come to think of it, I really don't have a single scarf that I have made that is a ribbed, or back loop only scarf! It is simplistic with a modern flair due to the look of a knit, but its really crochet! The yarn appears to be the same thing as the Caron Cakes yarn, and the particular color looks like a color they have. Or maybe used to have.... there are a lot of colorways that have been discontinued.
