This mocha skinny scarf is the perfect project for a beginner. It also happens to be the perfect project for those that like to gift home made items. I love the subtle changes in color for this project and even more that it is made with mercerized cotton yarn. Thanks for sharing this quality free project.

I am positive after you make just one of these you will want to make another. It is such an easy item that can become a fashion accessory in your wardrobe you will want to make one in almost every color in the rainbow. When I look at it I wonder if this pattern could be modified as a man's tie. Humm....

This skinny scarf has such a clean, classic look that it could be worn with several different styles. I like how the tapered ends add a touch of sophistication to its homespun look. Its worked across the width, so there are a lot of rows to contend with, but it only uses basic stitches, so just about anyone can work this one.

Well, you can wear a skinny scarf as a belt, too! Try working one up in black or a deep red and wear it wrapped around your waist with a solid color tunic top. I think some of the new silk yarns that are available out there would be perfect for a project such as this one.I would like it in a variegated yarn.
