Crochet Baktus Scarf Free Pattern
"It’s time to be getting ready for winter! I would like to propose you to crochet an unusual baktus scarf. The homeland of these scarfs is Norway. They were generally worn as a part of traditional clothing. The baktus scarfs of rich people’s were decorated brighter with golden, silver threads and brooches. How you see I didn’t use golden or silver threads for decorating I just choose my favorite color of yarn and very happy with the result."

What an unusual piece of traditional and historical apparel that has been modified with a different yarn and coloring for 2018. The scarf has these unusual points or peaks and valleys on the sides. I wonder if these were worn with dresses and petticoats? I really loved the story behind it. Thanks!
