So cool! I am so glad to have found this pattern today. I have Christmas presents I am planning to start making, and I was actually headed to any or all of my local yarn stores. I am THRILLED to find a pattern that looks impressive enough for gifting but only requires me to spend money on one ball of yarn. WIN! Not to mention I could probably get this done in one evening -)

I have several granddaughters who live in the western part of the US, and almost all of them are fond of Western wear. This is a cute scarf that will work up quickly and can be added to their wardrobe strictly as an accessory or for warmth. The color of the yarn gives it the suede look, and Im a bit torn about whether or not to add additional fringe to the edge. It looks a little bit sparse to me.
