Sparkly Ocean Crochet Infinity Scarf
Sparkles and the beach—these are two of the best things in life, and they are combined here in the Sparkly Ocean Crochet Infinity Scarf. This easy crochet scarf has a beautiful shine from the unique variegated blue yarn, with just the right touch of bling. The crochet lace pattern adds to the soft and flirty appeal of this design, and you could wear this in any weather. If you loop it twice, you can get some wonderful bunched warmth, but you could also leave it long and let it accentuate the rest of your outfit.

Ahh, the Red Heart Shimmer is a past favorite of mine from several years back. It went away for a while and came back in new updated colors. So for that reason, I love this scarf. It is a joy to work with and I consistently got compliments on my cowls when I would wear them out. Here we have simple double crochets and chains and spaces that is it!

I love this color of this yarn. I will have to see if I can order it on Amazon or find it at Walmart. This is an awesome smaller scarf to make for gifts.

I love the texture of this scarf, it looks so pretty with the shimmery yarn. This is a great way to use up a leftover skein of a pretty yarn.

I didnt have any sparkly yarn on hand (way too late at night to go to the craft store), so I worked up a swatch using regular acrylic worsted. I have to say I almost like it better in plain yarn. The lovely texture created by the stitches is much more visible. Ive often found that using a variegated or other gimmicky yarns can actually hide more than it highlights.

Hello Alyssa, I am having problems with your Sparkly Ocean Infinity scarf pattern. It indicates it is an easy pattern, but I am finding it anything but easy. I am stuck on the directions for Rows 2 and 3, particularly at the end of each line. Are there mistakes in theses lines? Please clarify the directions for me. I am anxious to make the scarf and I am getting more and more frustrated. Thank you, Hedy

Hi knieselh, I'm sorry you're having problems with this pattern - the best way to get in touch with the pattern designer is to go comment on her page directly. This page just links out to her site, but there's no guarantee that she's checking it and she's much more likely to respond to queries on her own site. :) Good luck! Julia, editor for AllFreeCrochet

This Sparkly Ocean Crochet Infinity Scarf has a unique design and it stands out. I imagine this to be done in ochre/maroon/mauve combination and it's gonna be fantastic, mimicking the colors of Fall. You can also make this longer if you want.
