Braided & Ribbed 2-in-1 Cowl

"On the heels of creating my version of the Braided & Ribbed 2-in-1 Beanie, I decided to create the matching cowl because I love a matching set … LOL! This Cowl is what I called a ‘transitional’ piece as it is ideal for wearing in between seasons, or on those cool summer nights when you want a little added warmth.

I am always cold, so it seems perfectly normal to have a cowl or hat on hand at any given time. I used approximately 115 yards [105 meters] of Hayfield Bonus Aran w/Wool in the Maize colourway."
 

Crochet HookJ/10 or 6 mm hook

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Crochet Gauge First 5 rows of the pattern, 7 stitches per row = 2 inches.

Finished Size11.5” [30cm] wide x 6” [16cm] tall.
