Just like other yarn companies, Jimmy Beans Wool is always coming out with new yarns and new products, so I was excited to hear that they came out with a new Crochet Club. Much like where a lot of companies are headed these days, Jimmy Beans is offering goodies to be shipped directly to your door.
The Crochet Project Club is a monthly subscription of only $15 a month that will ship fun yarn products to you in the click of a button. Each month you'll receive 3-5 samples of yarn in various colors to be used in a 3-month mystery crochet project. You'll also get a printed crochet pattern to use all the yarns, with instructions divided up during the course of 3 months. Lastly, you'll receive 1-2 notions or other cute knick-knacks to add to your crochet supplies; you might get a pair of thread snips, locking stitch markers or the like. In the sample I received there were 3 sample packs (2 luxury hand cremes and 1 rinse-free laundry formulation to keep your projects clean).
Jimmy Beans carefully chooses a fine selection of yarn samples that are 20+ yards each and include both old and new yarns from their collections. What I really like about this club is that all the materials come in a cute little fabric drawstring bag that you can use over and over. The contents within the bag each month are a mystery, which is part of the fun!
Other yarn clubs are offered through Jimmy Beans to suit every style and budget starting at $10 a month and going up to $55 a month; each monthly price includes shipping, too. Get in on the new subscription fad and make shopping a breeze.

Crochet clubs and / or monthly boxes from designers and yarn companies are very popular now. I have never joined one because after seeing a few people share what they receive, I have never really thought they were good deals. I am not sure, but I guess one of the reasons I have been reluctant to try a club also is because of the mystery factor of you dont know what you are making until you get the box.
