I really like this heart trivet pattern. The pattern is really easy to follow, and the end result is both practical and beautiful. It is made so thick that it really is the best to hold your hot pans. This would make an awesome house warming gift, in a set or by itself.

This unusual project results in a very thick and practical trivet. I love the shape, too! The basic strips of crochet work are very easy to follow, and the designer has provided several photos detailing how to assemble both the individual strips and the trivet. While shes used a heart shape, it would be easy enough to experiment with other shapes, too. A wonderful find!

Oh my gosh, I am loving this cinnamon roll heart trivet in this amazing robin's egg blue! How perfect to usher in spring. I love these in an array of vintage colors as well- coral, violet, rose. I have never done those swirl things before, but I am confident I can pull it off. She gives a pretty detailed description along with step by step pics. I can't wait to get started!

You can never have too many of these in the kitchen. I am always misplacing mine or spilling something on them and throwing them in the laundry room. I plan on making a few for myself and then some extra ones to give away to a few of my close friends. I know they will enjoy them too.

I really like this one. It's both pretty and functional. You can hang it on the wall as a decorative piece and use it whenever you need it. The pattern is very easy and should make up quickly. I would like to give some as gifts but the first person getting one is me!
