This is a nice simple potholder, and the designer give it extra interest by alternating working the Single Crochet stitches into the Front and Back Loops Only. That gives what would be a very ordinary, uninteresting project a bit of interest. She also jazzes things up by using a variegated yarn. If you want to use a solid color to match a particular dcor, you could still use a contrasting yarn for the border.

Hi Betswain73, We suggest that you go to the page and highlight the text, then right-click on it. You'll get a window that gives you the option to "copy." Do that, and then paste the text into a word document. You should be able print that document that way. Another option is to highlight exactly what you would like to be printed. I think the red/white yarn is pretty, but it's difficult to see the stitch pattern in the image above.

I worked this up this morning and I love it! It was easy, worked quickly and turned out beautifully. I plan on making it part of a kitchen set as a housewarming gift for my sister. 5 *s!!!
