I just recently made a basket re-purposing my cotton yarn from a tote bag. My basket actually ended up looking very similar to this one, especially the handles.It's nice to be able to go the the store and buy one of those big balls and use the whole thing on one project. What a smart-looking basket!

I just moved to a new home and need some baskets for organizing. I've been looking at crochet patterns for baskets but most of them are small. I finally found this one, which looks large enough. My plan is to make several of them and use them side by side on shelves. I'm guessing the pattern will still be fine if I don't carry a second color like it says?
