"This Crochet Cup Cozy is a great project for beginners, it’s so easy and quick to make. I’m using one of my favourite stitches – half double crochet. It’s one of the basic stitches and very easy to learn! I have crocheted in spiral rounds to eliminate the seam. Normally you connect the rounds with a slip stich and chain in the beginning of the round.But this creates a seam. When crocheting in spiral rounds you don’t connect the rounds and just keep working your stitches on top of the previous round This way you won’t see a seam that you normally have when connecting the rounds with a slip stitch. "
