Coats and Clark is literally the first sewing brand I can remember. I dont think there was a spool of thread at either grandmothers house that wasnt this brand. Those empty wooden spools sparked a lot of creativity, and it was a sad day when they went to plastic! Im glad the editors decided to highlight these Coats patterns because a couple of them are among my favorites, too.
