I've been looking for a simple, quick crocheted scarf to make and give to our postman for Christmas, and this scarf looks perfect, although I'll probably use a red, white, and blue color scheme and use #4 worsted weight yarn. Thank you for sharing this pattern.

My husband would never wear this. Actually, he wouldn't wear any scarf, however I LOVE the look and would make one for myself. I think it's nice for both men and women.

I think it looks very nice & lokkls like it would work up very quickly. I have some Red Heart classic pattern yarn that's verigated so I might whip this up for my daughter. Thanks for the pattern!

Love the scarf. I have made similar scarves crocheted the lenth instead of the width. You must remember, thought, to make your foundation chain fairly loose or the scarf will curl a little as you as more rows. Ask me how I know! lol! Great way to use up scraps of yarn. Just close your eyes and pick a color. They all look great together.

I wish I had seen this pattern a few weeks back! Since Thanksgiving, I have made 15 scarves, 8 for the gals in my family and 7 for the guys! What fun! I can't wait to see them all modeling their scarves on Christmas Day! I'll download this pattern for future use.
