Textured Crochet Dishcloth
"Looking for a great textured crochet dishcloth that works up super quickly? Try this textured crochet dishcloth using post double crochet! Cotton is definitely the best yarn to use for crochet dishcloths, so choose one that is durable and washes well. For my sample here I used Lion Brand Mako Cotton, which I adore, but it does have to be hand washed, so be aware of that if you decide to try it. You can use any cotton yarn that is worsted weight – some that I recommend are Lily Sugar n Cream, Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton or We Crochet Dishie. Any of these would make excellent crochet dischloths that last! This is a simple pattern with a woven stitch that uses front post and back post double crochet to achieve the texture. The border is a simple moss stitch (single crochet, chain 1) border. Yarn: Cotton worsted weight, sample shown in Lion Brand Mako Cotton Hook: US Size I (5.5mm) Notions: Yarn needle, scissors"
