This is a great pattern for Beginners as it contains basic increases and, if desired, color changes on each round. The designer has provided easy to follow instructions. Photos arent really necessary as theres also an embedded instructional video that almost functions as a Crochet Along. Note that these coasters are about five inches across when worked with the suggested hook size.

What a nice and easy trivet, you can crochet it even without a pattern simply looking at the picture. And I wanna share another very simple and easy coaster, it looks like a turkey, but can be crochet as a whole circle, you may use different colors to match everything http://bit.ly/Tpv9tH

Much too difficult to print the patterns. I don't have the time or the paper to print the patterns even though I would like to use them.

The easiest way to print anything off the internet is to right click on the page, select print and then print what you want...done! :-)

It would be VERY helpful if there was not a BLACK background. VERY difficult to see or even read the pattern. Therefore delte delete delete....

The black background appears when page is still loading...be patient, worth the wait! Becomes a lovely lime green and pink and easy to read!
