Simple Dishcloth
"I wanted to make a simple dishcloth and add some cute detail to make it pop! These are really easy to make and once you repeat the pattern a few times you will have it memorized and be able to whip these up while watching T.V. or drinking your morning coffee. Lots of fun and make great gifts! This project works up fast (only takes about 30 min!). This dishcloth uses 100% cotton yarn and size H hook."

I really like this dishcloth pattern. I like to use them for wiping down the sink, table and counters, so having a cloth that dries quickly between uses and can be tossed in the wash is pretty important. The open woven texture would certainly do that, not to mention looking very attractive hanging up to dry. The designer states that it only takes about 30 minutes to work up, but Ill bet its even less time once youve got the hang of it.

What I love is that she gives us a great close-up look at these dish cloths, where we can really see the stitch pattern and how it works up. Also, I am happy to see that two dishcloths can be made from just one Sugar and Cream ball of yarn. I think a color blocked desgin would look cool for a modern kitchen.
