This potholder is so pretty, Ive not had the heart to put it to actual use! My moms favorite flower was the pansy, and so I made a set using purple, yellow and black for the flower portion. Although I used all cotton as suggested by the designer, you could also use acrylic for the front and cotton for the plain back side where you actually grip the pot. It would allow a wider range of colors to be used since cotton is fairly limited.
