This is very close to the first mug cozy I teach to my Beginner students. Its easier for them to work since its flat, and they dont have to worry about joining anything like with the round cozies. That big button is ideal for older hands, too, since the holes are generally good sized. Dont tell anyone, but my teens like making them up as cuff bracelets, too.
