Hanging Crochet Towel Topper
It's one thing to have your kitchen towels hanging over the over door. It's another thing to work up this Hanging Crochet Towel Topper to add your own touch to what seems like a simple kitchen accessory. Kitchen towels are a necessity for cooking, baking, and doing dishes, but it's even better to have some that are all your own. Crochet your own towel toppers in any color to match the rest of the fabric of the towel, your kitchen walls, or even your dishware.

This is exactly the pattern my senior ladies have been clamoring for. Many of them either worked similar projects in the past or received them as hostess gifts, so the originals have been tossed or are in sad need of replacement. Im going to surprise them next month and announce this as one of our December projects. I know theyll be thrilled with some holiday themed towels and coordinating yarn.

PLEASE! DO NOT USE ACRYLIC YARN FOR THIS PROJECT! Stay safe in your kitchen, folks. Acrylic yarn melts in the same fashion as your tupperware. It turns into a molten blob of plastic, and can cause 3rd degree burns! Instead, simply use any brand of cotton yarn. Be safe, not sorry!
