These crochet kitchen scrubbies really do look like a sponge. For a minute I was thinking to get the thickness they stuffed it with fiberfill, lol at my own self. The directions are clear with pictures on how the thickness is accomplished. I think these would be great to have for part of a last minute basket. For the true homemaker something as simple as this scrubby would be greatly appreciated.

These are perfect in gift baskets. They require little material and if you are like me, you could probably make these in your sleep. So I stock up on Read Heart Scrubby yarn when it goes on sale. Not for this particular pattern but I do get request for scrubbies from all of my friends and family,

I can't believe this hasn't been commented on yet!!! I'm so thankful for this little pattern! I've been going through store bought scrubbies left and right and felt guilty for it...can't be good for our environment! These are so stinkin' cute and so very practical. The artist did a fine job of showing us how to make them. Now I need to choose my color of yarns....I think I'll start off with the sage sugar 'n' cream and the lime red heart scrubby. Thanks for the pattern!
