    Victorian Pillow Cover

"This free pattern was designed for my partnership with Red Heart Yarns as a Joy Creator to celebrate Christmas in July!! I love to decorate for Christmas, each year I struggle to make my extra couch pillows look festive… So this year I have designed a beautiful Victorian Pillow Cover using simple sticking and crystal buttons!! I was so excited when I received one of Red Hearts latest yarns ~ Cutie Pie… A light weight chenille yarn, it’s so soft and easy to crochet with… One of my new favorites for sure!!"

I went through a Victoriana phase, and despite the excellent PBS Masterpiece production, it doesnt seem to be making a return. I do like this pillow, but that single row of crocheted lace isnt nearly elaborate enough for a Victorian item. Those folks would pile on the lace trim and enough furbelows to choke a horse. Where are the corner tassels?

This is very pretty. It is a very easy to make. I read the directions and it's very easy to follow. I want to make two for my bed in red and gold to match my spread. I think they will look good. I will put gold buttons on the red and red buttons on the gold.

This is really pretty and unique! I love the lace and crystal button details. It would add a nice vintage touch to your home decor.
