Up-Cycled T-Shirt Pillow
"My daughter, Ashley, was really sad when she realized that she had outgrown her favorite doggy t-shirt. The shirt was in great condition and the image was so cute & unique that I thought it would look great on a pillow. I offered to up-cycle the shirt into a pillow for Ashley and she is thrilled with how it turned out. The border for the front of the pillow is worked in hdc and the back cover is simply a large granny square. I have detailed pictures & instructions on my blog. This was a really fun and quick project. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!"

What a great project for an up cycled t-shirt. This is a good way to keep the memory of this girl's wrecked t-shirt.

Is anyone else having problems accessing this page? I keep getting a 505 Gateway Time Out message even when I reboot. This is a really clever idea, and would solve at least a few of my storage problems. I have an entire bin of t-shirts from my girls various camps and youth retreats. The shirts no longer fit, but they dont want to throw them away. Im going to run this idea by them and see if this is a solution.
