As I troll the sites for new ideas, I keep coming across patterns of bowls and baskets made with yarn and now t-shirt yarn. I have yet to attempt to create one of these. If this item is washed, will it retain its shape?

Fettuccine Yarn is new to me. When I first saw the description of this project, I was a little put off because I don't think I have the patience to make my own t-shirt "yarn". Now I can't wait to get to the craft store and get this fettuccine yarn. There are so many t-shirt "yarn" projects I passed up but don't have to.
