Im constantly amazed by how many creative ideas for coasters are out there. Considering that coasters are a pretty small creative space, it takes real talent to design something different. The solid version is very nice, but I really like the two toned one. It almost has a mandala quality about it. Very happy to add this one to my pattern collection.

These coasters are really very pretty unto themselves. What a treat for the eyes to see a stack of these on the coffee table or kitchen table. I know she whipped these up using her scrap yarn and the only colors she had were the green and the honey. At least I am hoping that is what happened. I would not chose these colors myself, but if that is your thing than you do you. Me, I am a vibrant color fanatic, so I would pick a bright pink with the green, or a seafoam green with a gray or something like that. A nice quick to work up project for the weekend.
