Mosaic Cushion
"Do you have yarn left from a project and you don't have a destination for it? You can use your leftover yarn to make a textured cushion to complement your finished project. This cushion is named 'Mosaic Cushion', because the texture resembles old mosaics found in some of the most beautiful places on our planet. The design is for a cushion with size 20 inches square, but the design can be easily adapted to any cushion size."

This is a very cute pillow and a very creative way to sew the design around the pillow form to create a totally different look. The instructional video is absolutely fantastic. It helps clear up a few questions about how to work the written pattern. This will make a lovely house warming gift.

I always seem to forget about this type of formula for constructing pillow covers or cushions. When you make a simple stripe in many different colors and simply fold four corners to meet in the center it creates this really cool effect! Friends and family will be quite impressed with the look of this pillow and only you will know that it was quite an easy thing to do. I love this. I'd like to use my Color Wheel yarn for this. I recently bought a bunch and I was scouting out ideas as to how I was going to use it.
