"The second free pattern by Hi Sheep. This time we'll be making a cute mobile/wall hanging. I used a 3mm hook, a wood stick about 29cm - 11,4in, stuffing, safety eyes, yarn needle, yarn color: yellow, light yellow, light blue, pink, violet, orange, green, white and black thread for the mouth. The elements are not knotted allowing you to move them up and down to place them in the position that you like the most. The finished product is about 66cm - 26in. Enjoy!"

This is just so adorable! I like that all the elements are suspended from a single dowel, although if you are making this as a mobile, it would be easy enough to add another dowel perpendicular to the first. That would give the whole thing more motion than just the flatter version. Do be careful of the length of the strings as you dont want a choking or strangling hazard.

How precious is this for a newborn baby's nursery decor? I do not think it would be suitable to hand outdoors because of the sun fading all the beautiful and saturated colors used. Maybe you'd make sure it was a screened in porch out of the elements. If this is only her second free pattern offering, I cannot wait to see what else she comes up with.
