"I’ve been spending a lot of time thinking about gratitude and looking at life with a more positive take. Our last couple of years have been progressively more and more difficult, and to be honest, I’ve had a hard time keeping a positive attitude. Which is where this awesome Gratitude Grabber project comes in! This little basket is made to be filled with gratitude. Every time something you’re truly grateful for happens, simply jot it on a small piece of paper and toss it in this basket. Soon your basket will be overflowing, and you’ll probably be aware of more of the little amazing things that happen daily in life. This free crochet basket pattern features worsted (4) weight yarn and size 5.5mm (I/9) crochet hook. I used Red Heart Super Saver."

What a lovely sentiment! I have a wonderful new friend who I met through a support group, and shes such an inspiration to all of us. She is generous to everyone, and never asks for anything for herself other than our prayers and words of encouragement. Im going to find the prettiest yarn I can, and work this up as a surprise for her.

I believe almost all of us would appreciate a little bit of positivity in our lives, and this jar would do the job. We don't often think of our mental health! She's come up with a great little gratitude jar crochet pattern. It's even got a little mini heart worked right into the design.

I've noticed some advertisements for an app called Calm. I'm thinking I might add some calming activities to the slips of paper in the jar.
