I made this little basket last Spring, and liked it so well, I made another one! Im fascinated by all sorts of baskets, so this designers projects are right up my alley. Tapestry techniques are perfect for making baskets because it makes for a sturdier fabric than just one layer of yarn. Highly recommended if youre interested in exploring crocheted basketry.

This basket is so cute. I found it too late, cut would have been a wonderful idea for Easter. I love making unusual baskets and this one is adorable. I cant wait to make one for next Easter. No fancy stitches required. Just basic crochet. Pattern is easy to understand and it requires very little materials.
