Personally, I would even change that intermediate rating to an advanced beginner who want to step up her game. It is also just a small coaster, so working this tapestry crochet technique shouldn't be such a challenge for you. It is not like you are making a large afghan or a pillow. It's just a coaster, so a great way to get your feet wet in the tapestry crochet arena. Therefore- perfect for me!

Heres a cute little gift idea for the dedicated coffee lover! This is a wonderful practice piece for using the tapestry techniquewhich has the added bonus of creating some stiffness for the coaster. Im going to check my cotton yarn stash and make up several for my husbands office co-workers. Theyre amongst the most dedicated caffeine addicts I know.
