I still take tea every day, but Im probably a rarity these days. This would make such a cute Christmas gift even for someone who doesnt use it as a tea pot. It would work just as well for cocoa, or if they didnt want to get it wet, how about a nostalgic cookie jar? I expect that the most difficult part of this project is finding ceramic tea pots at a reasonable price.
