Halloween Trick or Treat Bags
"Easy to make corner to corner Halloween trick or treat bags. Only takes making one rectangle and handles. The pattern includes five different corner to corner graphs that you can make for your kiddos this Halloween. The heart bag is included for princesses who would like something a little prettier but it would also make an adorable bag for Valentine's Day. The trick or treat bags work up quickly using any variety or worsted weight yarns."

These started out as trick or treat bags for Halloween. I like the idea but these would also be great as home decor as a pillow or a small cover when more than one are made and joined together. There are a total of five designs provided. Using these are decor would get more use at my house because as a bag it would be lost and forgotten about.

I love this. Not only are there a heart or a bat bag the designer included graphs for other bags as well. These are perfect for Halloween but could easily be a tote your child could use all year long, depending on which graph you decide to use.

First of all, Id like to state that Im in complete agreement with the designer about ethically sourced chocolate and using coupons at JoAnns. The project is wonderfully illustrated with photos and charts. That said, I wouldnt limit this project to just bags Id think about making some of these into small throw pillows, too. Just stuff and work the sewing around all four sides instead of just the two side seams. You could even work some additional trim as well.

Great pattern. Great graphs. Great yarn choice. Vannas Choice is such a soft yarn and it is so very easy to work with as it rarely splits when your hook is working the patterns. I am lucky that I just happened to come across this pattern at this time since we are at the beginning of October now and getting Halloween ready.
