    Im not really sure why the designer considers this project to be an Intermediate and not a Beginner. It only uses the most basic stitches, and after reading through the pattern instructions, I dont find anything fiddly at all. I do agree with the designer about not using starch on this project. If you want really stiff stars, youre better off with actual fabric stiffener.

    DO you think that I could make two alike stars, or a red one side and a green the other, and insert a tiny sachet pouch? Don't you think you'd have a lot of fun whipping up a bunch of these tiny holiday star fragrant sachets for last minute gift giving? I know I would. I like both the twine and the ribbon. You could also make a bunch of multi-colored stars and string them together for garland for the tree. Have fun!
