"The Easy Easter Basket is a great basket when crocheted as shown, or use the pattern as a base and let your creative juices flow to create your own personalized Easter basket! You could certainly make this a scrap eater project too! The pattern is written in 3 different sizes: 7", 8" & 9". There are 3 options for the base of the basket. You can choose to reinforce the sides of the basket or not and you could make it with or without a handle. The options are endless. :)"

This is one of the sturdiest basket patterns Ive ever come across. The basket itself consists of the outer shell and inner liner, and uses plastic canvas sandwiched between to reinforce the sides. The handle is formed by crocheting over upholstery cording. This basket isnt going anywhere. The author has included a print option at the bottom of the page, too.

This is a great pattern for an actual Easter basket that you could use (rather than just a decorative one). The designer reinforces the bottom and sides of the basket with plastic canvas with a crocheted liner on top, and the handles are crocheted over cord to make them strong. A great stash buster project for spring!
