Down the Chimney Crochet Gift Bags
Make your holidays even brighter this year when you create these Down the Chimney Crochet Gift Bags! This easy crochet pattern can be reused and repurposed long after the holidays are over, too.
From the blogger: "These bags are perfect for holiday gift giving or any other occasion, too! They are sturdy and fun with a brick-like design. The handles make them easy to transport. They are two gifts in one, as they double as a handy tote after the gift-giving event. I’ve provided instructions for three common sizes, but they are so easy to size, I’m sure you can follow the guidance and make them any size you want. Sizes: Small, approximately 8” x 6”; large, approximately 12” x 9”; wine bottle, approximately 13” x 5”. Worked in worsted weight yarn."

The designer displayed the project in three different colors. Even though chimneys are typically red (brick) color the blue and green are really cute. Thank you for the free pattern.

Not all of us that a chimney but this is a cute gift bag none the less. I like the idea as a wine tote the most. When coming over, this is a great way to present the host/hostess with a small token of appreciation.

As we have collected more and more grandchildren (37 and counting), Ive rediscovered how much hassle it is to wrap all those presents! Every year I look for fanciful gift bags, and anything reusable is always my preference. These gift bags are so cute and infinitely useful! Theyll last even longer than the plastic coated ones I usually buy. Three sizes, too! Kudos for finding these!

These are more than just cute. They are very useful too. I love putting the grand kids presents in bags instead of wrapping paper. There's less mess and they can be reused. And these are just so very pretty. I may demand they be returned to me! Lol thanks for offering thus.

Part of the Twelve Weeks of Christmas CAL, these cute bags are great for all sorts of things. They can be re-used by the recipient after Christmas and make an eco-friendly gift that keeps giving the whole year through. Saves on wrapping paper too. Just need to start now so you can have plenty of these made before you need to wrap your gifts.
