I know what you mean making baby shoes the first on looks bad the second one looks better i think practice is all we need

I've been making scarfs, mittens, hats, etc. with #4 yarn. Now I need to work with #10 crochet thread. It's so small it's hard to manuver the hook into the stiches. I have a heard time holding the thread. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
