Williams Beanie

search

This Williams Crochet Beanie is simple to work up, stylish and oh so soft! The Williams Crochet Beanie uses basic crochet stitches like the triple crochet and single crochet which makes it great for crochet beginners!Any worsted weight yarn would work for this project and size J crochet hook which both can be found at most retailers. Once you have gathered all the supplies you need for your beanie, you can start with your band! I used a simple half double crochet band so it works up quickly which is always great!

Easy

Crochet HookJ/10 or 6 mm hook

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

The links to the patterns are not working today!

Hi telediv, Thanks for the heads up! The blogger's site might have been down or just having a moment - I just checked and the link works just fine now. Try again! :) Julia, AFC editor

My currently youngest grandson is named William so I have a soft spot in my heart for this project. This hat is worked from the bottom up, and despite how it looks, it is not made with the Bobble Stitch. The effect is achieved by alternating Single and Triple Crochet as you work your way around the hat. Similar look but a LOT less yarn and time than working the Bobble.

Pretty, pretty deep teal/jade color that I am absolutely in love with. One thing I know, blue looks good (i.e.is flattering) on EVERYONE in any skin tone...which makes this hat the perfect gift giving hat for those who are hard to buy for. Those nubby stitches really make a statement and add a lot of stretch to the body of the beanie.

This is my first visit to this bloggers site. This beanie pattern is very well explained and has awesome pictures with it. The designer for this beanie is the founder of Rescued Paws Designs. I am not familiar with this organization but it definitely sounds like something I will check out.
