My daughter would love this slouchy hat because it is pretty and colorful and stylishly shaped like a mandala. I think it looks like it would be really fun to work up, but it would still be a quick project. I think I'll try to get her one made soon so she can get some use out of it this winter.

I love every single design this designer has put out. She has a line of flings that are bright and cheery colours and range from beginner to "are you kidding me?" difficulties. Plus, she's very active with her followers/fans and has her own group on Ravelry. She's AMAZING!

Another great pattern from Kim. I love her designs. This is such a unique hat. I would love instructions for one like this in a heavier weight yarn though. While I like the light weight of this one, most of my fingering yarn is angora. Worsted is easier to come by where I live.

A VERY impressive slouch hat to say the least! Color, color, color is all there is to it. How awesome would this be to wear late winter into springtime? The pattern calls for Peruvian fingering weight yarn. If you cannot get that yarn I would say to use some of the sock yarns that are out there.
