I love the size of this Weeping Willow Sun Hat. It is just enough to sit on a small head like the model's head. This will also look great in deep blue, yellow, or gray.

She has got a shawl called the Mirrored Gemstone Lace Shawl featured at the bottom of her page that is gorgeous! It's in shades of violet and lavender with striped pattern. I hope that pattern shows up here! NOw on to the sun hat. In red, you have got a great nautical look going on. And the red is unexpected, if I don't say so myself.

Looking for a pattern for a sun hat for this summer and I thing this just may be the one. I like the fact that it uses cotton yarn and is a little bit airy so your head doesn't get hot just from the hat. The instructions seem to clear and easy to follow with an explanation of each stitch used. This is going to be fun just as soon as I get the yarn.

What an adorable hat! It is great that the yarn breathes and the stitch is open enough that it's suitable for warmer seasons! I have to admit that I haven't tried an "intermediate" pattern yet but this one is so cute that it is really tempting to try it. The color choices abound and doing even several ones of different ones colors is always a possibility! Fun here we come!
