The Velvet Charleston Hat
"This is a simple pattern designed to fit like the flop hats of the 1920s era. The techniques are fairly simple and the project works up quickly. You can easily finish one of these while watching your favorite movie. Hat can be left plain or embellished with cute feathers and flowers as you can see in the photos. Bernat Velvet and Baby Velvet can be used, as well as Yarn Bee Velvety Smooth Sparkle if you have some in your stash. It seemed to have been seasonal."
NotesI crochet very tightly. If you tend to crochet looser stitches, you may want to drop down to a size J (6.0 mm) hook.
