Well, it looks like I will be learning a new stitch. I never heard of this even though I have been crocheting for 50 years. But I really like the idea of not having any holes in the pattern. Not only do you get directions, but you get a video to help you along.

Here is a stitch that I have not ever heard of before. The linked double crochet. I was trying to read the pattern over and figure out how to do it for myself. I can't visualize it! I might do better watching a video tutorial instead. I do like the cool, thin stripes though!

Oh I love this! Such a cute little hat. So colorful and so happy the pattern was designed for adults for a change. Most of the cute items are geared more toward kids and the younger crowd. I like that this hat is worked in a different stitch instead of the same ole single or double crochet.

This is another Linked Double Crochet project, but this one is worked in continuous rounds so no special joining is required. I can see the advantage of the LDC as it forms a more solid fabric for adding trims to projects. Most hat patterns Ive seen just use Single Crochet to achieve this. It definitely gives the work an interesting look. I love the narrow rounds of color, too.

I really love the color pattern of this crochet hat pattern! I am looking for great beanie pattern to crochet, and I think I've found it!
