Simple patterns like this sunshine and hugs beanie will never go old. Being able to make this beanie in sizes from newborn to adult is perfect. Having the option to make it in so many sizes makes this pattern perfect for those of us that crochet and donate to charity.

It is that time of the year when we all need that extra layer of warmth when we go outside. Instead of searching for a pattern for everyone, this is the perfect pattern to make sure everyone in the house has at least one beanie to wear when the need arrives.

So this basic but pretty baby beanie uses the pebble stitch which is alternating single crochets and double crochets- but when you go to the next row, make sure you work the opposite stitch into the previous row's stitch. It is a fun one to do. If you have yarn laying around the house what a perfect way to use up all those bits of random colors and weights.

I love this simple hat pattern, It works up so quickly since it uses a J size hook. The crown is just repetitive Half Double increases. Once you get to size, the pattern switches but is still repetitive enough to practically work in your sleep (or while watching TV). I really appreciate the size chart included with this pattern. Theres a big difference in a Toddler and Child!

This is a really sweet baby hat pattern. The designer also has the same hat in a preemie baby size on her web site. I crochet baby hats for charity, especially preemie ones, so am happy to find this pattern. The little hats don't take much yarn so I can make a lot of these!
