Im a huge fan of cables, so I can read the pattern easily. However, it would be better for a less seasoned crafter if there were some photos or detailed drawings included. It can be a bit tricky alternating between the Front and Back Post Double Crochets. Depending on the color of yarn used, it can be somewhat difficult to see exactly where to put the hook.

Definitely an intermediate pattern with this front post and back post triple and double crochets. Most times I can't get my head in the right mindset to even take on such a detailed pattern such as this. I think I just want to take the easy way out most times! The slouchy hat itself is very pretty!
