This saturated, bright blue color sure lifts my spirits! It is a great color to wear with your black peacoat, or with a dark charcoal jacket. It doesn't look like double crochets, though. So very easy to work up and you get your practice with increases as well. The band is done up using single crochets.

I like the look of this Simple Double Crochet Slouch Hat. I have not seen the Lion brand 24/7 cotton yarn, so I'll be on the look out for it. I think the cotton yarn will make this a nice warm hat, and it couldn't be easier to whip up using the double crochet stitch. I'm looking forward to making this one.
