For a complicated looking hat, this project is remarkably easy. The interesting texture is created by alternating rows of mainly Half Double stitches with rows of Quadruple Treble. And while it might sound like a tricky Olympic ice skating leap, its actually just an extended version of a Double Crochet. The designer provides wonderful photos and links, so dont be afraid to try this one!
