Reversible Textured Slouchy Beanie
"The Reversible Textured Slouchy Beanie is a very special and unique beanie. It can be worn in 4 different ways: the green side, red side or a combination of either color when you flip the ribbing over. However, if you add a detachable pom-pom you have 4 more ways to wear this incredible beanie. The beanie features vertical and horizontal lines that provide with lots of texture. Who would not want an awesome beanie like that? It is for sure my most favorite one I made to date."

I love that she chose a classic holiday red and green for her hat pattern. There aren't too many hats done up in green and red. I also love seeing that second color poking out from underneath the brim! I would opt out on the detachable pom-pom, and that is only my personal preference. The hat speaks for itself!

I have to agree with JaneEK below this will be the hottest hat ever made. I have never seen two hats sewn together. This hat would be great to have if you lived in Alaska. I do like the two textures of the hat, but I'm thinking of making them with a lighter weight yarn so it won't be so hot to wear. What a unique concept this Reversible Textured Slouchy Beanie is. Thank you so much for sharing this free crochet hat pattern.

You know this has to be the warmest hat possible since you actually have a double layer of beanie! Each color is worked separately (and you can stop there if you want) and then sewn together. I love the texture of the Posts on the body of the hat. The plain brim is perfect for either folding or rolling. Im going to work up a version is camo and blaze orange for my son who hunts.
