"Sizing a beanie for a child is hard because every head is different. As a result, I have added as much information to this pattern as possible so that you can tweak it to fit your own child’s head. Be SURE to check the gauge for this project. If you find that you are not lining up with my stitches, go down (or up) a hook size so that you are as close to my gauge as possible. "
Crochet HookH/8 or 5 mm hook
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Crochet Gauge15 dc stitches and 9 rows = 4” square
Finished SizeAbout 18” in circumference, 6.5” tall with instructions to size bigger or smaller.
