Of course, you can use any worsted weight yarn you desire. But, why would you? The Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable yarn is so perfect for the look of this slouchy beanie. It looks like a very expensive hat that you would buy at a boutique. Overall, an easy pattern to tackle. would love to see it on a model.

Although this hat is worked like most Bottoms Up project, this one is slightly different. The ribbed band is worked completely and then fitted around the head so the button can be correctly placed. THEN the rest of the hat is worked in Rounds to the top. I can definitely see the advantage of using this technique as it would a better fit. This project is also Print/Pdf Friendly, too.
