This is a cute idea. And it couldn't be any easier. My daughter has really long hair and I know she'll love this since her ponytail always makes a bump when she wears a hat.

I made one like this last fall. I've got long hair, so I wanted a knit hat I could pull my ponytail thru. I wore it for months. I'm going to do this one and compare.
