princess6860504, Post Stitches are so easy to work up, and I hope youve been able to make this hat since your original entry here! The trickiest part for me was figuring out exactly where to insert the hook when working posts. I kept thinking it was in the top, not around the post itself. Find a good tutorial, and the rest is easy. The ever resourceful Moogly Blog is a great place to start! http//www.mooglyblog.com/post-stitches-raisedrelie == f/

Could I tackle this cabled beanie pattern with confidence? There is only one way to tell, and that is to pick up my hook and start. Has anyone else been able to make this hat and have it come out like the picture? I know OF the front post double crochets but I am not well versed in them. But I do love how it turned out!
