Ive made this hat several times already, and personalized it with school colors for the local high school. If you follow the pattern exactly, there is still plenty of space to put additional logos or other appliqud features on the side of the hat. One of our local schools is represented by the Bobcats and another by the Cougars, so paw prints are ideal!
